Congress Established a Fund to Compensate People Injured by Vaccines

If you or or a loved one sustained any injury while receiving a vaccine, compensation may be available through the federal government.

In 1998, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 created the National Vacine Injury Compensation Program (VICP).  The VICP is a no-fault alternative to the traditional tort system for resolving vaccine injury claims.  The system provides compensation to people found to be injured by certain vaccines.  Claims pursued in this manner will normally be processed through the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., an may result in large financial recoveries for injured parties.
