Class action alleges Amazon and Zappos refuse to pay hourly workers for post-shift work

Lead plaintiffs Tina and Aaron Vance filed a class action suit on Thursday against Amazon.com and Zappos.com alleging that both companies fail to pay workers for tasks required to be performed after they clock out of work.  Specifically, they allege that the companies refuse to pay for mandatory, post-shift, security screening.

The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, seeks the recovery of unpaid wages, attorney fees, and other damages.  For more information see Vance v. Amazon.com, Inc., et al. (3:13-cv-00765-JGH)
