Texas wrongful death lawsuit claims assisted-living, psychiatric treatment facility injured and killed resident

A Texas wrongful death lawsuit claims Day Star Residential, Inc., Shiloh Treatment Center, Inc., and Behavior Training Research, Inc. (managers and owners of an assisted-living psychological treatment facility), caused the death of a mentally ill resident.  According to the lawsuit brought by the father of the deceased, the deceased became aggravated at the facility.  In response, employees broke his nose, caused other injuries, crudely bound his arms and feet with rope, and threw him in a closet where he died.  Keith C. Purdue and E. Michael Grossman represent the Plaintiff.  For more information, please see Wesley Owens v. Day Star Residential, Inc., et al., Judicial District Court (Brazoria County).
