Neil Smith graduated from Loyola New Orleans School of Law in 2003 and became of member of the Missouri Bar in 2004. During law school, he worked for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on issues relating to small businesses and sole proprietorships. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 2000, where he held an executive role in the student government and was a member of the Honor's College.
After finishing law school, he represented many of the largest American financial and industrial companies, and litigated cases in more than sixty different counties in the State of Missouri. Neil has provided information and legal analysis or news sources including Missouri Lawyers Weekly, The St. Louis Daily Record, The Countian, Fox 2 (St. Louis), NBC KY3 (Springfield, Missouri), and KOLR 10 (Springfield). He is also a member of Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) and the Class Action Committee of the American Bar Association.
